They Didn’t Want Me…

I had the coolest opportunity lately. It thrilled me to no end. I find in blogging that I need a few wins every once and awhile to keep me excited and motivated.  Like, being on t.v with Tyra Banks and Jillian Michaels, being named a Top Mommy Blog to Follow, having David Spade notice a tweet.

And then this…

This was big….

And then it wasn’t….

P.s I wasn’t crying sad tears. Those were funny tears.

So it ended that they still wanted me, but it all felt so icky that I recommended a different writer for the gig. I believe that everything works out perfectly in the end.

  1. OMG I AM SO SORRY. How disappointing!!! That said, this goes to show what a good person you are and know – KNOW – that your day will come. Keep going and I PROMISE YOU it will happen.

  2. Aww. You’ve got cred and compassion and you’re honest. Karma likes that and you wouldn’t have felt good. Something even better is in store for you. ❤

  3. So what we really want to know is did they hire your friend? The one that wrote the blog they wanted? If it weren’t your friend that wrote the blog they liked you could have totally stolen the job. They don’t know what they are missing.

  4. Awe! Keep up the good work. They are watching you!
Something is still coming your way!

Ps love your hair, lipstick colour and ….. your crown moulding! Did you pick it out?

  5. What an emotional rollercoaster that must have been! And for the record, I’m more likely to read a blog post on a regular blog than on some big magazine’s blog! I like things a little less ‘mainstram’

  6. I’m howling at the awkwardness. But also sad they didn’t see the bra post(s) first. Cause it is a good one! But good karma will get you soon.
And yes kids can be @#$=×*

  7. As always, you rock, my friend! Good things…better things will come your way. I salute you for turning this down. You are a class act! xo P.S. Thanks for the laughs…I needed this tonight 🙂

  8. Hey Ky, accidents like that do happen, when I moved to the city I went to blockbuster to rent a movie, they thought I was there for an interview, (I was currently working a different crap job and thought ‘why not?’) went for the interview, got the job, eventually met my future husband there and the person that led me to my current job. All because I wanted to watch Overboard…
