Oh do I have a story for you….
In my late twenties I had to go for my annual pap smear.
Damn I hate the word smear.
While I am waiting, in walks the most gorgeous young doctor I have ever seen in my entire life. He had “the” hair. You know the hair I am talking about, a bit longer on top with a small luscious chunk that just falls into his eyes. Sigh. He was beautiful. Just dreamy. And an intern. Sigh…. marry me you young hunk of burning…
WHAT THE WHAT!?
This guy was going to give me a pap.
Just shoot me.
And it gets worse.
He was even more nervous that I was and he made the worst joke about forgetting to warm up the “duck lips.”
Now, you know I love a good duck lip selfie.
But that was not the kind of duck lips he was joking about.
It was the kind that goes into my Hoo Ha.
Well, as he giggled nervously and the nurse rolled her eyes, we finally got the pap done, without me reaching down and holding his luscious hair out of his eyes.
Sadly, he didn’t ask me for my number. Probably because I hadn’t waxed in 2 years.
October 21st to 27th is Cervical Cancer Awareness week.
Please go #getthepap, because I care about you. And I don’t want you to be one of the scary statistics. It is estimated that in 2013, 1450 Canadian women will be diagnosed with Cervical Cancer and 380 will die from Cervical Cancer.
