Hoover ONEPWR Floormate Jet Giveaway

I like easy things. Easy cooking. Easy cleaning. Easy friendships.

I talk about this so much on Mommy’s Weird that I often wonder if I should have named the blog “Living Life Lazy”.  It’s not a philosophy. I can do hard things. I just prefer to do things the easier way. I live by the old cliche ‘work smarter not harder’.

And that is exactly what the Hoover Floormate Jet does. It vacuums and washes in one easy step without a cord to get in your damn way. Heaven. I’m finding that I am really enjoying the products available in the ONEPWR range, exclusively available at Canadian Tire, because you can use just one battery and move it from task light to leaf blower to vacuum to spot cleaner and more. It’s just easy.

If you have pets and need to do a nice quick clean on your hard flooring like vinyl plank, tile or linoleum then this is the vacuum for you It also refreshes mats and rugs which I like, but not sure that I will continue to use that feature as often as the vacuum, spray and wash. It stores super easily and I love that you can remove the brush VERY easily. It also has a stand so that you can clean your brush. I don’t know how many times in my life I have wished for an option like this. I just never understood why brands made their products user-friendly to clean your home but almost impossible to clean the brushes or devices that you are using to clean your home?! This is a super genius move on Hoover’s part with the ONEPWR Floormate Jet.

    1. I prefer clean floors, any clean floors, shinning floors, floors without dried milk and coffee stains and mud streaks. Floors without dust bunnies and tiny Lego pieces and sticky parts with fibrees coming out of them. Carpet or hardwood, it doesn’t matter to me, I’m not picky!! Just any clean floor.

    1. this would be perfect for me! We only have one area rug and the rest of the house is laminate ! would replace both broom and super old vacuum!

    2. The jury is out on what I prefer. I’ve had a carpet for 43 years and now have hardwood. I’m not at all sure how to clean it but this sounds like a solution.

    3. Definitely prefer hardfloor. Carpet needs to die hah I need this in my life soo bad!! 2 dogs and me shedding hah life saver

    1. I’d prefer a hard surface as it would be a lot easier to clean with allergies. I’d have an area rug to make it warmer.

  1. with the amount of food and drinks that goes on the floor from my 3 daughters (especially baby girl) i am very thankful for my hardwood

  2. I prefer carpet, but I have hard floors on the entire main level (but the biggest area rug I could afford in the living room) including my bedroom and my youngest son’s bedroom. The lower level is fully carpeted. Living in Calgary, I prefer carpet. Hard floors are cold in the winter.

  3. I definitely love my hardwood! With 2 cats and busy grand children, it’s easy to clean. Can’t imagine what carpet would look like! Big fan of area rugs.

  4. Hard surface for sure in living rooms! My kids make a huge mess (none of that mess could be mine ) so our area rug is in huge need of this vacuum!

  5. I can’t wait to get hardwood floors in my living room. Currently have carpet wait for it….. in my kitchen…. toilet hallway….. yes it’s legit a 2.5’x8’ room that only has a toilet in it…. and then carpet in the dining room/living room.

As we’re renovating hardwood is going in and so much nicer.

  6. We have all hard floors! Love them, but have yet to find a powerful enough tool to keep them clean! Also, your insta stories are hilarious. I love how much your friend loves the vacuum. This is what excitement looks like when you’re an adult. I’m here for it!

  7. I prefer hardwood. Although I have a very plush rug that’s great in the winters months when the hardwood floors are cold.

  8. Warm tones of wood flooring in a home is my preference for that modern yet rustic feel. I have a mix of flooring with an area rug that the OnePWR would work it’s magic on BOTH & that’s what’s so convenient and innovative about this helpful product!

  9. I prefer carpet, but hubby wanted hardwood. I admit it’s easier to clean (especially with our hairy dog, but I still would prefer the warmth of carpet.

  10. I’m on the fence about this one…I love the ease of keeping hard floors looking good but I prefer the cozy feeling of carpet.

  11. Oh such a tough call. I actually prefer carpet in the family room because it is more comfortable and warm, BUT for ease of cleaning we prefer/have wood floors because it is easier to keep clean.
