It has been seven months since I have posted a recipe in Weird Recipes.

Sort of obvious as to the type of cook I am.

Listen, I like cooking.

But, I like to make only about 5 recipes. I am not a person who will make a special trip to the store to buy bulgar, cilantro, ginger or papaya.

Except yesterday.

Yesterday, I sent my husband to the store to buy ALL of these ingredients for Chemical Cake….

 

Mini Marshmallows

Cherry Pie Filling

Chocolate Cake Mix

Grease a 9 x 13 pan.

Spread marshmallows on the bottom.

Make the Chocolate Cake Mix like it tells you to on the box and then pour it on top of the marshmallows.

Drop spoonfuls of the Cherry Pie Filling all over the cake.

Bake in oven for an hour at 325 F

I know this sounds crazy, but the cherries fall to the bottom and the marshmallows rise to the top. WHAMO BAMO you have a Black Forest Cake.

Seriously.

IT IS AMAZE BALLS!

Serve with whip cream if you are in desperate need of the extra calories.

I love extra calories.

In fact I am thinking of naming my next child “Calorie”.

Say it a few times.

It’s really kind of pretty.
